If it's early October that means two things: squirrel-eaten pumpkins that were put out too early before Halloween and Amazon sales. The Prime Day kitchen deals have returned in the form of Amazon' Big Deal Days, the branding the mega retailer chose for its autumn version of Prime Day. It's a chance to get a jump on the holiday shopping and gifting season, with discounts of hundreds of dollars on lots of our favorite cooking equipment. Appliances, cookware, cleaning gear, and other big purchases have some of the largest drops off the sticker price, but it's also a great time to replace your chipped dishware, swap out your mismatched wine glasses for a cohesive set, stock up on baking sheets, or upgrade your stainless steel cookware.
Everything you'll find listed down below has been part of our rigorous product testing and approved by the editors and writers who work on it.

We know that these shopping blitzes can be overwhelming, so here's our promise to you: Our sale Prime Day kitchen deals coverage only showcases products that our editors personally vouch for, either because they’ve wowed us in the Test Kitchen, we use them in our own homes, or they’re from brands that make consistently high-quality stuff.
Just remember, you need to be a Prime member to access the deals. If you're not already addicted to two-day shipping, you can sign up for a trial now that will last you through the event for just $1.99 (what you do after your two dollar week is between you and your Amazon account).
Countertop appliance deals
As far as the kitchen is concerned, this is really the bread and butter of Amazon Prime Day. Air fryers, blenders, food processors; all the core pieces for a kitchen counter are on sale, including the names you're most familiar with. The two best Vitamix blenders we've ever used, the air fryer that's won out in our testing for years, and Cuisinart's iconic food processor are all deeply discounted.
It's also a great time to go something more niche you might have been thinking about but hadn't pulled the trigger on, like GE's superior countertop ice maker or the viral-for-a-good-reason Ninja Creami, also both on sale
Cookware deals
‘Tis the season for braises, pan sauces, and one-pan dishes. There's no better time to take advantage of discounts on investment-worthy cookware that'll serve you well throughout cozy season and last you a lifetime after (we're looking at you Dutch ovens). Our favorite cookware set—the 7-piece All-Clad D3—is discounted $100, and you can find one of BA’s top stockpot picks (Made In) in a 10-piece set for $120 off the regular price. One deal that's new this year that we're excited to see is on Wagner's unbeatable cast iron griddle, another Gear of the Year winner.
Coffee deals
Coffee gear—espresso machines, coffee makers, and grinders—are some of the best Prime Day deals this time around. Four different Breville espresso machines are on sale, some hundreds of dollars off, as is Fellow's lineup of brewing equipment, which includes senior editor Noah Kaufman's top picks in three different categories. For a simple one button affair Nespresso machines are also on sale and make great gifts for people just settling into their first kitchen.
Kitchen tool deals
Prime Day is a great opportunity to level up your arsenal with upgraded kitchen essentials you'll reach for every day. The Thermoworks Sizzle thermometer, a 2025 Gear of the Year winner, is on sale just in time for Thanksgiving, as is GIR's excellent five-piece silicone utensil set that'll help you ditch your half-melted plastic tools.
Cleaning deals
Is your vacuum lacking some oomph? When's the last time you replaced your kitchen towels? Use Prime Day as a chance to restock cleaning essentials before the holiday hosting craziness begins.
The obligatory Prime Day questions, answered
When is Prime Big Deals Days 2026?
Prime Big Deals Days (the fall equivalent of Amazon Prime Day) is happening right now, from Tuesday, October 6 through Wednesday, October 7. Over two days, shoppers can find ongoing deals as well as some flash sales for one day (or a few hours) only dropping at 12 a.m., 8 a.m., and 1 p.m. PDT (3 a.m., 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. EDT) on each day of the event.
How do I access Amazon's Prime Big Deals Days deals?
In order to score Prime Day discounts (and the best prices on Amazon more broadly), you need an Amazon Prime membership. Currently, membership costs either $14.99 per month or $139 for a discounted annual subscription. It includes free same-day, one-day, and two-day shipping on eligible items as well as access to grocery delivery from Amazon and Whole Foods Market.
Other benefits include Grubhub+ membership, Amazon Music access, photo and video cloud storage, plus gas station discounts and some prescription savings. More recently Amazon has started offering discounted monthly memberships starting at $6.99/month for those receiving government assistance or meeting certain income requirements and $7.49/month for “young adults” ages 18 to 24.
How do we vet the best Prime Big Deals Days kitchen deals?
Amazon has thousands of items on sale for Prime Day, and all of that volume can be overwhelming. So, to give you an assist with your shopping, we pulled together items we found on sale from brands we like, cross-checking our numerous product reviews to highlight only the best deals on kitchen appliances, tools, and accessories that we think are worth a Buy Now click.
Now, any savvy internet shopper knows that many deals that look too good to be true actually are—meaning, brands mark up their items ahead of a sale so that they can show steeper discounts during the event. Pretty sneaky! In order to avoid falling victim to this trap, we use tools like Amazon's own Alexa for Shopping price history widget and CamelCamelCamel to track price changes throughout the year. That way we can tell you if the price is the lowest we've seen or if we expect it to dip even more, such as during Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Are Prime Big Deals Day deals better than Black Friday deals?
Sometimes! Both Prime Big Deals Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday week have brands clambering to give their customers discounts. To see if an offer is at an all-time low, click the “price history” button on Amazon (in blue next to the price).
What if I don't like shopping on Amazon, can I still get a deal?
Absolutely. Hip to the success of Amazon's shopping “holiday,” many competitors now run big sales during the same time period. Major retailers like Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Ikea, and Home Depot have “Anti-Prime Day” deals active right now.
Brands also often slash prices on their own websites—right now we're seeing huge sales at Dyson, Shark/Ninja, Breville, Fellow, All-Clad, Made In, Le Creuset, and more. In our list we often include buy buttons direct to the retailer for those of you who want to shop small (or at least smaller).
Do prices stay the same throughout the entire Prime Day sale?
Prices not only fluctuate throughout Prime Day, but Amazon also offers many “flash deals.” We'll do our best to keep this page updated throughout the sale's four-day run, but if there's a particular item you have your eye on, we recommend you use the Alexa for Shopping tool on Amazon to set a price alert so that you'll be notified when it drops below a certain threshold.
How can I make the most of Amazon Prime Day?
Our shopping team recommends taking advantage of Prime Day deals in three different ways. First, stock up on everyday essentials that you use all the time, like cleaning and kitchen organization items. Sponges, soap, pantry staples, spices, trash bags—get ‘em while they’re cheap!
Next, price-check any big ticket items you need, including coffee gear, countertop appliances like microwaves or blenders, and even major appliances like refrigerators or ranges. If you know an upgrade is needed imminently, act now so you can benefit from lower price tags. Prime Big Deals Day is especially a good time to level up your kitchen gear because it falls just ahead of the fall's busy cooking season—the year's other biggest sale time is Black Friday, which is of course after Thanksgiving.
Last but not least, use Prime Big Deals Days to buy gifts. Sure, we're a few months out from Christmas and Hanukkah, but think about all the birthdays, weddings, graduations, and other special events between now and then. (Also, I hear it's never too early to start holiday shopping. Just think about how you can smugly tell all those last-minute shoppers that you've been done with your shopping since October!)
How can I keep track of all the best deals?
Bookmark this page. You can also follow Bon Appetit on Instagram, where we'll be sharing recommendations all week—DM us if there's anything specific you're looking for! Sign up for our Shopping newsletter and the latest discounts will go straight to your inbox.
Can I return items I buy on Prime Big Deals Days?
Yes. Amazon's usual return policy applies. Items that are final sale are marked as such.
