The Lafourche Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed that Urker’s autopsy was completed Friday, October 2.

The examination was carried out at the Jefferson Parish Forensic Center in Harvey, Louisiana, because the Lafourche Parish office does not have a pathologist.

Standard toxicology testing is also part of the examination process. According to Page Six, while the autopsy has been completed, the coroner has yet to provide a cause or manner of death, as toxicology results can take additional time.

“As you all know, an autopsy was conducted this morning on Mr. Urker. At this time, there is no definitive cause of death,” the coroner’s office said in a statement. “The case remains pending completion of toxicology testing.”

In the meantime, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the death alongside the coroner’s office.

Urker was discovered dead inside his Louisiana home on Thursday evening, hours after Gypsy Rose Blanchard reportedly sent him a birthday text that went unanswered.

When he failed to respond, her brother, Dylan, and his wife went over to his home to check on him and found him unresponsive.

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the Raceland residence at approximately 6:15 p.m. after receiving a call. Urker was found dead when officers arrived.

Authorities have so far said there is no evidence pointing to foul play. A spokesperson for the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office told People Magazine that investigators had “found no evidence of foul play” at this stage, while adding that they could not rule it out while the investigation remained ongoing.

Investigators are still waiting for medical findings and continuing to examine the circumstances at the Raceland residence.

Reports have also described items found at the scene, including drug paraphernalia and a handgun. Those details have not, by themselves, established a cause of death.

Gypsy Rose has said she believes Urker died from an overdose after an unknown substance was reportedly found near his body.

Speaking to People, Gypsy Rose said Urker “was not in a good state of mind lately” and described herself as being in disbelief after learning of his death.

The “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up” star also told the outlet that she suspects her partner, Ken Urker, may have died from an overdose, although authorities have not yet confirmed his cause of death.

“I don’t know if it was intentional or not,” she said. “He was not in a good state of mind lately.”

Meanwhile, Urker’s sister, Autumn, addressed his death during an emotional TikTok Live, where she alleged that her brother did not die “of natural causes.” Her comments come as officials continue to await toxicology results before determining what caused his death.

Gypsy Rose asked for privacy and compassion for their daughter, Aurora, as both families grieve.

Following the news, Gypsy Rose expressed profound grief over the loss of Urker, with whom she shares daughter Aurora.

“I’m in disbelief. I can’t think. I’ve screamed until my throat burns,” Gypsy Rose told People.

She described Urker as an “amazing father” and said he would remain her “soulmate” and “red string,” referring to what she described as a connection that could not be broken by time, distance, or even death.

Gypsy Rose also said her late partner had faced intense public scrutiny and cyberbullying before his death.

“Ken endured an unimaginable level of public scrutiny and relentless cyberbullying across social media platforms, including TikTok and Reddit,” she said.

She added that the harsh treatment he received online was difficult to comprehend and may have weighed heavily on him.

“The cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure,” Gypsy Rose said. “I believe the tremendous weight of that scrutiny and harassment had a profound impact on him, and I hope his passing serves as a reminder that there is a real person behind every screen, every headline, and every comment.”
