Prince Harry‘s anticipated UK visit with his family will have to wait for another time.

The Duke of Sussex’s much-awaited arrival in his home country finally happened, but not with his wife or their two children as earlier predicted due to the haunting security and accommodating drama.

The news of Prince Harry’s trip to the United Kingdom has been trailed with different theories, including the possibility of full reconciliation between himself and King Charles, and reports of sustained rage toward him from Prince William.

The media personality headed straight to his home country after spending time on vacation with his children and wife in Europe on Monday, July 6. Harry’s itinerary includes a week-long appearance connected to his charity works alongside the one-year countdown festivities to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

Perhaps the most significant part of Harry’s arrival was the absence of Meghan Markle, Archie and Lilibet in his entourage, against overwhelming speculation a few weeks ago that it was going to happen.

Sources close to the situation have revealed that the family’s arrival in the UK has been complicated by Harry’s dilemma with security provision on England’s soil.

As shared by PEOPLE, a review of Harry’s security by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC) is still ongoing. Additionally, Harry was not promised that the security arrangement would extend beyond the provided accommodation on the royal estate.

The Father-Of-Two’s Stay At Royal Residence Was Reportedly Revoked

Earlier in the day, The Blast stated sources from Harry’s camp reacted to the decision of Buckingham Palace to allegedly cancel an invitation for Harry and his family to stay at a royal estate during their UK visit.

According to Harry’s team, the palace had sent out this offer before they later changed their mind, thus raising suspicions over the timing.

A spokesperson for Harry’s camp shared that the Netflix personality was only able to formally accept the invitation over the weekend after he was done putting plans in place for alternative security.

The spokesperson described the decision to revoke the invite as “disappointing,” especially with the knowledge that he had a court judgment linked to his case against the publisher of the Daily Mail in a few days.

Prince Harry’s Family May Join Him Later In The Week

Sources from the palace have debunked the claims from Harry’s camp, explaining that Harry’s acceptance of the invite came after the deadline for confirming the accommodation expired.

A cut-off date was reportedly set at the end of last week to give the royal residence ample time to make arrangements for security and staffing.

The king was reportedly benevolent enough to extend the invitation weeks earlier while requesting for feedback within a certain window.

Despite the frustrating situation surrounding state security for Harry and his family, he has been exploring several options to ensure his children get the chance to enjoy the UK safely. 

Reports also emphasized that accommodations at a royal residence remain open for future visits should the possibility of Meghan, Archie and Lilibet coming to join Harry later in the week stand. A visit from Harry’s kids will also give the king a chance to spend time with his grandchildren for the first time in a long time.

The Blast shared that the spot, which holds a dear spot in Harry’s heart, sits just an hour away from Birmingham, where the Invictus event will be held. A post on the website also stated that it would be closed to public visits on July 10 and 11, fueling the flames that Meghan and the kids’ visit may be inevitable.

An insider noted that Harry feels it is important for Archie and Lilibet to have the English side of their heritage as a big part of their lives. However, the real and credible threats to his family remain the elephant in the room.

As for Meghan, her trust issues with the palace still exist, as a source noted that she finds it hard that everyone suddenly has a change of heart after years of spreading rumors about her.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Promised To Keep The Cameras Away If A Visit To The King Happens

The couple reportedly agreed to a few requests made by the royal palace prior to Harry’s arrival, including a promise to ensure that their rumored visit to King Charles stays under wraps.

As shared by royal expert Alison Boshoff, the meeting will be strictly private with no cameras, no Instagram posts, or revelation of discussions in interviews afterward.

“Charles has let him know that he is really looking forward to seeing his grandchildren. Harry is looking forward to the visit and to building bridges. That is what everyone wants,” the expert added.

The cameras will follow them around for the rest of their visits, but family moments have been agreed to be kept within those who matter.

As for the fate of Harry’s kids spending time with their cousins, Prince William’s children, sources have ruled out the possibility of that happening. Due to the tension between the brothers, an insider claimed that they may want to keep their children out of the mix and make it a happy visit for everyone involved.
