She continued that returning to “Freakier Friday” felt like a full circle moment for her because it reminded her of her early days and how much she has grown along the way. Lohan added that as she settled in her 30s with all the blessings in her life, she is no longer searching for who she is and is living her reality.

“Choosing family, choosing purpose and creating a life that feels as good as it looks,” the actress concluded as she added pictures of herself and her husband with their little boy.

The Blast shared in 2025 that Lohan finally revealed why she traded the fast-paced lifestyle of Hollywood for a quieter life overseas. The actress, who got married to financier Bader Shammas in 2022 and had their son Luai a year later, revealed that life in Dubai has given her the normalcy she had been looking for.

While promoting her film “Freakier Friday” in the United States, Lohan opened up on “LIVE with Kelly and Mark” about the motivation behind her move. She explained that being so far removed from Hollywood has allowed her to enjoy a more ordinary, peaceful life away from the spotlight.

The actress also spoke highly of Dubai’s privacy regulations, highlighting that they have made it much easier to raise her son there.

Unlike in the U.S., where celebrities are frequently photographed without permission, Lohan said people in Dubai cannot simply take photos of strangers in public because consent is required.

Lohan first moved to Dubai in 2014 and eventually met Shammas; having built a life there, gotten married, and become a mother, the actress has had a new perspective on family life and parenting.

Lohan also revealed that she too wishes to expand her family in the future and would love for Luai to have a sibling, believing that having more than one child gives them lifelong companionship.

The actress also admitted she likes the idea of having a larger family as she grows older, hoping to be surrounded by loved ones later in life.

Happy birthday, Lindsay Lohan!
